Why Do You Outline Your Reaserch Essay?When you outline your research essay, what do you use as the basis for your re-writing? The idea is to introduce the main points of the essay in one place and provide examples from where the outline goes further. To better understand what I mean here is a typical example of where my research writing starts. This first paragraph will set the stage for the main focus of the essay. It is followed by an introduction that provides insight into what this particular paragraph is about.After this, I start to break down what will be covered in this paragraph. I usually do this using two types of examples.Examples: How do they apply to your situation? I will give examples of students who have applied for grad school or MBA. In this case, we already know that it is based on personal finances.Then, the rest of the paragraph provides details of how the author overcame the challenges he or she faced.
